Download as PDFTour operator WE-Flytour, for which the Local Court of Heilbronn recently ordered provisional insolvency administration, has announced the cancellation of all trips with a departure date up to and including 31 December 2024.
Provisional insolvency administrator Ms Heike Metzger from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has made this decision together with the tour operator. This now ensures transparency for customers and partners. Potential future options are still being reviewed.
Agency partners and customers were immediately informed about this decision.
Customer deposits protected
For package holiday travellers, customer deposits are protected by law through the German Travel Insurance Fund (DRSF). DRSF will be in touch shortly with the holidaymakers concerned to coordinate the reimbursement of any payments made. WE-Flytour is in close consultation with DRSF on this.
Local assistance
Steps have been taken to ensure that the final remaining travellers still at their destinations are receiving all necessary assistance on the ground.
With respect to trips planned from 1 January 2025 onwards, the tour operator will soon provide further information in order to update the customers and partners affected as quickly as possible.
The company would like to thank its customers and partners for their support and understanding at this challenging time. It is still its intention to handle the situation with the greatest possible care and to be available to all involved. WE-Flytour will continue to ensure transparency and provide information about the latest developments as they happen.
