Insolvency administrator Mr Sebastian Laboga from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has succeeded in finding an investor for telemedicine company BDS Digital Health Solutions GmbH. GoMedicus Group GmbH, a well-known investor in the industry, has acquired the business by way of an asset deal effective 1 February 2025.

Well-known sandwich company Strahmann in Frankfurt am Main will be preserved. Insolvency administrator Ms Christiane Patricia Herweg from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has found a follow-up solution for the insolvent operating company FCS Feinkost Catering Strahmann GmbH.

VAP Bielefeld GmbH, a franchisee operating the VAPIANO restaurant in Bielefeld, has filed for insolvency. The long-standing Menrad Group headquartered in Schwäbisch Gmünd has filed for insolvency. By its decision taken on 31 March 2025, the Local Court of Aalen ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of Ferdinand Menrad GmbH + Co. Effective 1 April 2025, the family-run GS Schenk Group headquartered in Fürth has acquired construction company Dörrmann based in the municipality of Berg bei Neumarkt in der Oberpfalz (Upper Palatinate).

The creditors’ assembly today approved the takeover by SPYROSOFT SOLUTIONS GmbH, a German subsidiary of SPYROSOFT S.A., a Polish listed company.

UBC Composites GmbH has started to restructure itself under debtor-in-possession proceedings. The Local Court of Heilbronn assented to the company’s application on 20 March 2025 and ordered provisional debtor-in-possession proceedings.

kontech GmbH has started debtor-in-possession restructuring proceedings with a view to repositioning itself. Attorney Mr Steffen Beck from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH is providing support in his capacity as general agent and is advising management.

Kreiskliniken Dillingen-Wertingen gGmbH has initiated protective shield proceedings to position itself for the future with its hospitals at two locations. The company, represented by management, filed the relevant application. The Local Court of Nördlingen assented to this application and ordered provisional debtor-in-possession proceedings on 19 March 2025. The aim is to restructure the non-profit company with a view to stabilising its financial situation and ensuring sustainable medical care services in the region.

Within the context of insolvency proceedings, the PLUTA team under attorney Mr Daniel Barth and business lawyer Mr Maximilian Wanko is set to conduct the process of finding an investor for banke GmbH. The company, an innovative supplier of technology for breweries, has been involved in provisional insolvency proceedings since 14 March 2025. The Local Court of Landshut has appointed Mr Daniel Barth from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator.

The Local Court of Bremen opened insolvency proceedings for the assets of the relevant companies in the Vector Foiltec Group on 1 March 2025. Dr Christian Kaufmann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was appointed regular administrator. He had already been acting as provisional administrator for these companies. The future of ESA Luftsicherheit & Service GmbH has been secured: insolvency administrator Mr Sebastian Laboga from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has succeeded in finding an investor, who will acquire the business effective 15 February 2025. All some 50 jobs have been saved and the provider’s operations will be seamlessly continued.

The Local Court of Augsburg (insolvency court) today ordered provisional insolvency administration for Augsburg-based sports club Post SV Augsburg e.V. Restructuring expert Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has been appointed provisional insolvency administrator.

Management at Abele Ingenieure GmbH has filed for insolvency. Following this, on 13 February 2025, the Local Court of Augsburg, as the insolvency court, ordered provisional insolvency administration for the company’s assets and appointed restructuring expert Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator.

Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, insolvency administrator for MARO, has announced the next step in the cooperative’s insolvency proceedings. The restructuring expert said, “Following the successful raise of more than 4.45 million euros in capital and the positive resolution at the meeting of members, we will now put the insolvency plan to the creditors for their vote. The Local Court of Munich has scheduled this for 11 March 2025.” All of the members and creditors involved will receive a copy of the insolvency plan by post in the coming days.

On 1 February 2025, the Local Court of Heilbronn opened insolvency proceedings for the assets of WE-Flytour GmbH and appointed Ms Heike Metzger from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as regular administrator. She had already been acting as provisional administrator for the company since late November 2024. All creditors will be written to over the coming week and will then have the opportunity to file their claims for registration in the insolvency schedule online or by mail.

Graf Lerchenfeld Quartier GmbH & Co. KG has filed for insolvency. The Local Court of Regensburg, as the competent court, appointed attorney Mr Daniel Barth from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator on 31 January 2025.

On 1 February 2025, the Local Court of Tübingen opened insolvency proceedings for the assets of Sauter Feinmechanik GmbH based in Metzingen. Mr Ilkin Bananyarli from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was appointed regular insolvency administrator. He had previously acted as provisional administrator for the company.

On 27 January 2025, the Local Court of Aalen appointed attorney Mr Florian Zistler from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator for Scoop Aalen Hotelbetriebs GmbH. The business operates the 4-star MAXX Hotel in Aalen.

By an order issued on 20 January 2025, the Local Court of Aurich has appointed attorney Dr Christian Kaufmann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator for Strandhotel Kurhaus Juist GmbH. The company operates Strandhotel Kurhaus Juist, a well-known four-star seaside hotel on the island of Juist in the North Sea.

Restructuring expert Mr Peter Roeger from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has announced a positive development in the insolvency proceedings for the Herz Pharmacy in Schweinfurt: he has achieved a follow-up solution in his capacity as insolvency administrator. Mr Christian Hundeshagen, who already operates the MEDICON Pharmacy in Schweinfurt, will acquire the business effective 1 February 2025. He will ensure the ongoing operations of the well-known Herz Pharmacy and keep on all employees.

This means that the proceedings can soon be concluded.
