The court granted the application and ordered provisional debtor-in-possession proceedings on 8 July 2026. Business operations are being maintained without restriction. Caritasverband für Bocholt, Isselburg und Rhede e.V. has achieved a decisive milestone in its financial restructuring efforts: today, creditors unanimously approved the insolvency plan under the debtor-in-possession proceedings. The court confirmed the insolvency plan at the same meeting. In the FWU AG insolvency proceedings, administrator Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has achieved an important milestone in the realisation of the company’s assets by finding a buyer for the group’s stake in the austrion Life Group based in Austria. The buyer is SKH Funding Limited. The administrator has already signed the agreement for the acquisition of the stake. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details concerning the purchase price.

The future of the Ketteler hospital in Offenbach has been secured. In the restructuring proceedings for hospital operator Ketteler Krankenhaus gemeinnützige GmbH, all creditor groups approved the insolvency plan at the discussion and voting meeting held last Friday. International fruit juice manufacturer Rauch has acquired the German functional drinks brand Kloster Kitchen. In the insolvency proceedings for the assets of Ferdinand Menrad GmbH + Co. KG, insolvency administrator Mr Florian Zistler from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has reached another important milestone: following notarisation, the sale of a property forming part of the business assets has been completed.

The Local Court of Charlottenburg ordered provisional insolvency administration for GfA Tagesstätten GmbH on 5 May 2026. Attorney Mr Frank Brachwitz from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has been appointed provisional administrator.

PLUTA restructuring expert Mr Ilkin Bananyarli has announced positive news: as part of an asset deal, Rud. Otto Meyer Technik GmbH & Co. KG (ROM Technik) has taken on 49 employees and selected projects of the insolvent RÜCKERT + MÜLLER GmbH based in Karlsruhe.

The transaction is still subject to the customary conditions of the ongoing insolvency plan proceedings and will be closed later this year.

The debtor-in-possession proceedings for ZEDO GmbH, the operator of the ‘5’ gourmet bar and restaurant in Stuttgart, have been successfully concluded. Within the framework of an insolvency plan, those in charge have implemented an investor solution that will allow the business to make a sustainable fresh start. With the court having already confirmed the plan, the developed solution has since become legally binding and the proceedings can soon be formally terminated. The creditors approved the plan back in early April. The Bierothek based in Bamberg has filed for insolvency. The Local Court of Bamberg has therefore ordered provisional insolvency administration for the beer trading marketplace. Mr Holger Christian Buehler is acting as provisional insolvency administrator for Bierothek Marketplace GmbH.
