In the insolvency proceedings for the Familienferiendorf Hübingen e.V. association, an important restructuring milestone has been reached by the PLUTA team and the board of the family holiday village together with supporters: the required 350,000 euros in rescue capital has been successfully raised. The relevant deadline has now passed. The funds are earmarked for distribution to creditors under the insolvency plan and are intended to provide the family holiday village with sufficient liquidity to bridge the winter months, when turnover is lower.

On 14 July 2026, the Local Court of Osnabrück, as the competent court, ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of Ev. Altenzentrum Neuenkirchen gGmbH and appointed attorney Dr Ria Brüninghoff from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator.

The court confirmed the insolvency plan at the same meeting. This establishes the basis for the prompt termination of the proceedings (once the statutory periods expire) and the successful completion of the restructuring.

An application to open insolvency proceedings has been filed for each of the companies with the Local Court of Braunschweig, as the competent court.

In the FWU AG insolvency proceedings, administrator Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has achieved an important milestone in the realisation of the company’s assets by finding a buyer for the group’s stake in the austrion Life Group based in Austria. The buyer is SKH Funding Limited. The administrator has already signed the agreement for the acquisition of the stake. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details concerning the purchase price.

The future of the Ketteler hospital in Offenbach has been secured. In the restructuring proceedings for hospital operator Ketteler Krankenhaus gemeinnützige GmbH, all creditor groups approved the insolvency plan at the discussion and voting meeting held last Friday. The team of PLUTA restructuring experts led by Mr Philip Konen and Dr Christian Kaufmann has therefore succeeded in developing and delivering an effective solution for the hospital within a short space of time.

International fruit juice manufacturer Rauch has acquired the German functional drinks brand Kloster Kitchen. With this integration, the family business is expanding its portfolio to include a leading producer of organic ginger shots in the German-speaking region and strengthening its position in the high-growth functional beverage market, while safeguarding the brand, site and jobs. In the insolvency proceedings for the assets of Ferdinand Menrad GmbH + Co. KG, insolvency administrator Mr Florian Zistler from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has reached another important milestone: following notarisation, the sale of a property forming part of the business assets has been completed.

The future of the Ketteler hospital in Offenbach has been secured: Deutsche Rote Kreuz Kreisverband Offenbach e.V., the German Red Cross (GRC) district association in Offenbach, will take over as operator of the hospital. This will safeguard the jobs of the more than 900 employees over the long term as well as the continued operation of all of the medical departments with the exception of the obstetrics unit, which will close on 30 June 2026 (as previously communicated). A corresponding investor agreement has already been signed. The transaction is still subject to the customary conditions of the ongoing insolvency plan proceedings and will be closed later this year.

KG: the newly established CCH Colour Company Hildesheim GmbH has acquired the business and taken over all 32 employees effective 1 May 2026.
