Download as PDFIn the insolvency proceedings for windeln.de SE, insolvency administrator Ivo-Meinert Willrodt from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH sold part of the listed company’s assets, such as the brand and the windeln.de Internet domain, to a Swiss investor. The parties have agreed not to disclose any details of the purchase agreement.
The investor intends to operate an e-commerce shop for products for babies and toddlers. In this context, it will not sell the products directly but through external cooperation partners.
The PLUTA team is currently drafting an insolvency plan that should allow the best possible dividend to be achieved for creditors. Further details will be provided by the insolvency administrator at a discussion and voting meeting, which is expected to take place in late summer.
Attorney Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt, a managing partner at PLUTA, said: “We sold major windeln.de SE assets and are currently working on a comprehensive and complex insolvency plan to protect the creditors’ interests.” Mr Willrodt is being supported in the proceedings by attorney Mr Wolfgang Bernhardt and industrial clerk Mr Hans-Christian Källner.
