PLUTA with three new partners

PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has welcomed attorneys Dr Ria Brüninghoff, Mr Christian Heim and Mr Martin Jungclaus to its partner ranks. With their solid professional experience and business skills, the new partners will help to shape the restructuring firm’s growth strategy going forward.

Dr Ria Brüninghoff is an attorney for general law and a specialist attorney for insolvency and restructuring law. She is jointly responsible for the Münster and Lübbecke branch offices alongside Mr Stefan Meyer. Her activities are focused on restructuring and turning around companies as part of ordinary insolvency proceedings and debtor-in-possession proceedings. Among other things, she is currently provisional insolvency administrator for Lemax shoe-fashion GmbH, which runs several stores and online shops, and insolvency monitor for Alfred Reimer GmbH. In the recent proceedings for Warendorf, a manufacturer of premium kitchens, Dr Brüninghoff and Mr Stefan Meyer achieved a restructuring solution that received considerable attention in the market. Dr Brüninghoff has been working for PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH since 2016.

Attorney Mr Christian Heim has been with PLUTA since 2009 and manages the Hamburg branch office. His activities are focused on restructuring and turning around companies as part of ordinary insolvency proceedings. For example, he was insolvency administrator for Driver & Bengsch AG and also the Friesenhof Child and Youth Care Institution. During the restructuring process for Märklin, the attorney took charge of the important site in Hungary. Mr Heim is currently provisional insolvency administrator for cosmetics manufacturer Dankwardt. He is an attorney for general law and a specialist attorney for insolvency and restructuring law.

Attorney Mr Martin Jungclaus has been at PLUTA since 2005. He specialises in providing legal advice on insolvency matters. Mr Jungclaus works out of the Munich branch office, from where he provides support, including recently in respect of the windeln.de insolvency proceedings. He has extensive knowledge and experience in insolvency and restructuring law, commercial and corporate law, and general economic law. Contractual design of M&A transactions of every size is one of the focal points of Mr Jungclaus’ activities. Among other things, he was part of the PLUTA team that succeeded in finding an investor for Vapiano. In addition, Mr Jungclaus will soon co-author commentaries on the contest of debtor transactions in insolvency proceedings in the long-established Frankfurter Kommentar zur Insolvenzordnung publication.
