PLUTA restructuring experts enable more H&H Touristik Group trips to take place by end of February

The green light for additional H&H Touristik Group trips booked by travellers via H&H Touristik, galavital and Travel Direkt and starting on or before 28 February has been given.

The three companies have been involved in insolvency proceedings since the beginning of February.
Mr Michael Pluta, Mr Heinz-Joachim Hombach and Mr Rainer Bachert from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH were appointed as provisional administrators.

Supported by the insurer, HanseMerkur Reiseversicherung AG, the tour operators and the PLUTA restructuring experts succeeded in ensuring that further trips can go ahead.

“Together we made it possible that trips starting on or before 28 February 2019 can take place. Concerning trips from 1 March 2019, all those involved are working on a solution that should allow these trips to go ahead as well. These trips have not been cancelled,” said Mr Michael Pluta.

However, it may become necessary for some of the booked trips to be cancelled in individual cases. The travellers concerned will be contacted beforehand in these cases.

Travellers should note that the insurer, HanseMerkur Versicherung AG, will not bear any cancellation costs. Travellers are advised not to cancel their trips on their own initiative, but rather to wait until they have received an answer from the team in charge as to whether their trip will go ahead. The entire team is working hard to ensure that holiday makers can travel as planned and without any difficulties.
