PLUTA restructuring expert Steffen Beck achieves continuation solution for nadicom: scientific laboratory to be preserved

A continuation solution has been implemented in the insolvency proceedings for the assets of nadicom Gesellschaft für angewandte Mikrobiologie mbH. Insolvency administrator Mr Steffen Beck from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH and his team have found an investor to take over the operations of the scientific laboratory.

Mr Beck has implemented the solution by way of an asset deal. As part of the investor solution, the company’s employee will be retained. The founder of the insolvent company will remain involved in the newly established business in an advisory role to ensure the company’s specific and highly specialised knowledge is preserved.

nadicom has special expertise in developing and producing microbiological solutions for the agricultural sector. The combination of in-house product development, genetic identification and quality control constitutes a specialised offering that is not widely available in the market.

“It is so important to preserve expertise in highly specialised companies. At the same time, our job is to find an economically viable solution that is in the interests of the creditors. We have achieved both with this transaction,” said PLUTA partner Mr Steffen Beck.

Insolvency proceedings opened on 1 April 2026

On 1 April 2026, the Local Court of Göppingen, as the competent court, ordered insolvency proceedings for the assets of nadicom and appointed attorney Mr Steffen Beck from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as insolvency administrator. He had already been acting as provisional administrator for the company.

Mr Beck and his team had kept the business operating since it filed for insolvency in January 2026. The transaction represents an important step towards the sustainable continuation of the company. In addition to insolvency administrator Mr Steffen Beck, attorney Dr Matthias Lehr is also part of the PLUTA team.
