Download as PDFPanemano GmbH based in Augsburg has filed for insolvency. Following this, on 29 August 2025, the Local Court of Augsburg, as the competent insolvency court, ordered provisional insolvency administration for the company’s assets and appointed Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator. The company operates the 32° | Die Werkstatt für Genuss organic artisan bakery located on Maximilianstraße 37 in Augsburg, which remains open for business as usual.
PLUTA restructuring expert Mr Stemshorn explained what has to happen next: “While keeping the business fully operational, my team and I are in the process of gaining a comprehensive overview of the situation. To this end, we are holding discussions with key business partners. Our aim is to keep the business operating on a stable basis and lay the foundations for a follow-up solution.”
Mr Stemshorn is working closely with management on a solution, including the option of bringing an investor on board. The PLUTA restructuring team further comprises Ms Martina Kaderabek, while colleagues at Raab und Kollegen are assisting with the ongoing operation of the business and the process of finding an investor. The company has had to file for insolvency because of liquidity problems resulting from the loss of a major account. The 30 employees have already been informed about the current situation. Their salaries are guaranteed for a period of three months thanks to specific substitute benefits provided under German insolvency law.
Stores open for business as usual
“Despite the current challenges, our customers can continue to rely on the trusted quality of our organic baked goods,” said managing director Mr Volker Rös. He added, “Our team is motivated and we want to work together to preserve the business for the long term. Our store remains open, and all customers are welcome to pop in and shop with us as usual.”
