Download as PDF. The Local Court of Bremen opened insolvency proceedings for the assets of the relevant companies in the Vector Foiltec Group on 1 March 2025. Dr Christian Kaufmann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was appointed regular administrator. He had already been acting as provisional administrator for these companies. Vector Foiltec GmbH, Vector Foiltec Holding GmbH and Vector Foiltec Europe GmbH are all involved in insolvency proceedings, but not the various subsidiaries worldwide.
The group remains operational, with the creditors’ committee having approved the continuation of operations up to August 2025 initially. The companies within the Vector Foiltec Group that are involved in proceedings still currently employ 55 people. A core team remains on board and is backing Vector Foiltec.
Right at the beginning of the proceedings, the administrator initiated a structured process of finding an investor. The PLUTA team is currently in advanced negotiations with several interested parties. Insolvency administrator Dr Christian Kaufmann stated, “I am confident that a solution is possible in the near future.”
Vector Foiltec based in Bremen filed for insolvency on 1 November 2024. In addition to Dr Christian Kaufmann, the PLUTA team is comprised of attorney Mr André Gildehaus and business lawyer Ms Nicole Neumerkel. FIDES Corporate Finance GmbH under managing director Mr Tobias Kersten is also providing support.
Vector Foiltec is an innovative manufacturer of roofing and façade systems. The company has a site in Bremen where it has been producing since 1982. It has already installed over 5,000,000 m² of ETFE film and completed 1,700 projects worldwide.
