PLUTA attorney Georg Jakob Stemshorn secures unanimous approval for insolvency plan in Post SV Augsburg proceedings

The creditors and club delegates unanimously approved the presented insolvency plan at the voting meeting held at the Local Court of Augsburg (insolvency court) on 17 July 2025. Insolvency administrator Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has therefore delivered a welcome outcome for Post SV Augsburg e.V. Back in May, specialist attorney Mr Stemshorn achieved an investor solution with the Siegmund Group based in Augsburg.

Now that the necessary approval has been obtained, the long-standing sports club’s survival has been secured and it can act independently again from 1 August 2025. The relevant parties expect the insolvency proceedings to be terminated in summer 2025 as soon as the insolvency plan is legally effective and the payments set out in it have been made.

Ongoing sports activities will continue as usual. The Siegmund Group has acquired the club’s property and also provided it with a stable future outlook through fair leasing models. It will take over the operation of the fitness studio from August. Everything will remain the same for members, who can continue to exercise as usual.

Strong vote of confidence in the club
