Effective 1 December 2025, C&S EDV Service und Entwicklung GmbH has acquired the company’s operations by way of an asset deal and taken on its employees. The business will therefore continue to operate without any interruptions. C&S EDV Service und Entwicklung GmbH has acquired all tangible and intangible assets. It has taken on responsibility for services, program development and sales, so continuity of service provision is assured. C&S offers innovative software solutions for the social economy.
PLUTA attorney Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn said, “We have held constructive discussions over the past few weeks. This outcome allows the business to continue operating fully. We have therefore achieved a quick and good result for the customers, employees and creditors.”
C&S Computer und Software GmbH, part of the C&S Group, filed for insolvency in October. On 9 October 2025, the Local Court of Augsburg, as the competent insolvency court, appointed attorney Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn from PLUTA as provisional insolvency administrator. On 1 December 2025, the court opened regular insolvency proceedings and appointed Mr Stemshorn as administrator. C&S Computer und Software GmbH has continued to operate without restrictions in the meantime. The PLUTA team led by Mr Georg Jakob Stemshorn and business lawyer Mr Maximilian König also reviewed the restructuring options and conducted a process to find an investor, which has now been concluded.
