Personnel service provider Schanzer Zeitarbeit GmbH successfully restructured: creditors unanimously approve insolvency plan

7 October 2025 · Munich · Business Area Restructuring

The restructuring process for Schanzer Zeitarbeit GmbH based in Ingolstadt has been successfully concluded. As part of the debtor-in-possession proceedings, the creditors have unanimously approved the insolvency plan for the personnel service provider, which is active on a supraregional scale. Schanzer Zeitarbeit has therefore been fully restructured and will continue to operate under its present structure. All 150 or so jobs have been saved. Restructuring experts Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt and Mr Ludwig Stern from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH have supported management as general agents during the debtor-in-possession proceedings.

There was strong interest and a high level of participation by creditors in yesterday’s creditors’ assembly. The creditors unanimously approved the insolvency plan presented by the restructuring experts in the discussion and voting meeting. This paved the way for the planned conclusion of the proceedings and will allow the business to continue operating under stable financial conditions. An investor agreement had already been reached with an investor back in June 2025.

Payments to creditors in two tranches

“The creditors’ unanimous vote demonstrates their great confidence in the approach taken. Together with management, we have been able to stabilise the company’s financial situation and ensure long-term job security,” said attorney Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt, general agent under the debtor-in-possession proceedings. PLUTA restructuring expert Mr Ludwig Stern added, “A double-digit recovery rate is envisaged in these proceedings. The payments to creditors will be made in two tranches. An initial dividend payment is expected in January 2026 and a second a year later.” In addition to business management expert Mr Ludwig Stern and attorney Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt, the PLUTA team includes attorneys Ms Marlene Scheinert and Mr Rasmus Linden as well as Ms Celine Plaschke, Master of Laws (LL.M.).

As insolvency monitor, attorney Dr Hubert Ampferl from law firm Dr. Beck & Partner has worked closely with his colleague, attorney Ms Simone Herger, to oversee the proceedings in the interests of the creditors. He, too, feels the proceedings have gone well. Dr Ampferl said, “The restructuring has been carried out extremely professionally. The creditors’ unanimous approval and the safeguarding of the jobs are evidence of the success of the approach taken. The creditors will also benefit from a good recovery rate.”
