Download as PDFOnly a few days since Fellensiek Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG filed for insolvency, more than 50 parties have already registered their interest with provisional insolvency administrator Dr Christian Kaufmann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH. A structured M&A process will now be launched in the proceedings, with offers having been received from consultancy firms specialising in this area.
To facilitate the seamless implementation of the process of finding an investor for the group as a whole, the Local Court of Wilhelmshaven has also ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of FPM alphabet capital GmbH & Co. KG and Fellensiek Beteiligungs GmbH. No other companies in the group are involved in insolvency proceedings and there is no obvious likelihood of these filing for insolvency or plans in this regard.
FPM alphabet capital GmbH & Co. KG has no employees and holds a stake in two companies that operate photovoltaic systems in various locations across Germany. Fellensiek Beteiligungs GmbH is the general partner of the project companies not affected by insolvency.
PLUTA attorney Dr Kaufmann said, “After just a few days, over 50 potential buyers have already signalled their interest in acquiring the group or individual companies. And more are coming forward each day. We will hold in-depth discussions over the coming days and weeks to find one all-encompassing follow-up solution or various individual solutions.”
Fellensiek Projektmanagement GmbH & Co. KG, the group’s holding company, has been involved in insolvency proceedings since 3 September 2024. Following its establishment in Jever in 2012, Fellensiek began undertaking wind energy project development. Its key business now is the development and implementation of large-scale photovoltaic systems in Germany.
