Christine Behrens

Christine Behrens has been working as a attorney for PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH at the Hanover and Bremen offices since 2022.

Prior to that, she worked for a national law firm in Hanover in the field of insolvency administration since 2016. From 2003 to 2013, Mrs Behrens worked for a law firm specialising in insolvency law in Würzburg, where she became a partner in 2009. Since 2005, she has been regularly appointed as an insolvency administrator by the insolvency courts in Würzburg and Schweinfurt.

She specialises in business continuation and the preparation and implementation of reorganisation and restructuring solutions (asset deal, share deal, insolvency plan proceedings) for companies.

Ms Behrens regularly gives lectures on insolvency law topics, in particular the reorganisation of companies in insolvency proceedings. She is a member of various insolvency law associations, including ARGE Insolvenz und Sanierung im DAV (Working Group on Insolvency and Restructuring in the DAV) and Distressed Ladies – Women in Restructuring e. V.
