Nikolaus Röver joins PLUTA to strengthen M&A transaction business

Attorney Mr Nikolaus Röver was appointed partner at PLUTA Management GmbH on 1 March 2024. The experienced M&A and restructuring expert will be responsible for expanding the company’s M&A transaction services.

With this new addition to its ranks, PLUTA is further pursuing its growth strategy and positioning itself as a full-service provider in the transaction business. The experts at PLUTA Management GmbH offer every service associated with M&A deals. This includes advising companies on matters of law, finance and tax as well as supporting them in their search for investors. PLUTA advises both buyers and sellers of businesses.

Mr Nikolaus Röver has many years of experience in advising national and international clients on corporate acquisitions, sales and restructurings. During his successful professional career, he has been involved in over 80 M&A transactions and taken on more than 50 advisory mandates to date. He has acted as chief restructuring officer (CRO) in many engagements over the years, and supported the restructurings of Blaupunkt, Überkinger Mineralbrunnen, Poschmann Plastics, ATP Autoteile GmbH and more. His best-known M&A clients include TV manufacturer Metz, Gehrlicher Solar and publisher Langenscheidt.

The 55-year-old began his career in 1997 as an attorney with an international auditing company in London and later worked at a renowned Heidelberg law firm specialising in insolvency administration. He subsequently gained extensive experience in restructuring consulting at KPMG and Droege & Comp. As managing partner and co-head of the Distressed M&A and Restructuring division of investment bank Acxit Capital Partners (now part of NYSE-listed investment bank Stifel Financial Corp.), he was responsible for numerous national and international M&A deals over many years.
