Mr Nikolaus Röver, a managing partner of PLUTA Management GmbH, is responsible for the M&A Transactions business unit at PLUTA. In his professional life spanning more than 25 years, Mr Röver has been responsible for over 80 M&A transactions and over 50 advisory mandates. He advises on M&A and restructuring as well as interim and debtor-in-possession management mandates using his expertise as an attorney and management consultant.
From 2014 to 2020, he was managing partner and co-head of the distressed M&A and restructuring business at investment bank Acxit Capital Partners in Frankfurt (now part of NYSE-listed investment bank Stifel, US) and was in charge of many national and international sell-side and buy-side mandates. Most recently, he was CEO of e-commerce company ATP Autoteile GmbH, which he had previously sold to Swiss Automotive Group AG, headquartered in Cham, Switzerland. He started his career in 1997 as an attorney with an international auditing firm in London before going on to work for law firm Wellensiek in Heidelberg, Germany. Following this, he held positions at KPMG and as principal at Droege & Comp. in the field of restructuring consulting. As an experienced chief restructuring officer (CRO), Mr Röver has supported companies such as Blaupunkt, Überkinger Mineralbrunnen und Poschmann Plastics.
He is a qualified German attorney (Universities of Heidelberg and Berlin) and holds an MBA from the Rotterdam School of Management (Erasmus University).
