Download as PDFAfter keeping the company going for nine months during the insolvency proceedings, the administrator Mr Stefan Meyer from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has now found a solution for Johann Blomeier Maschinenbau GmbH. On 1 November 2018, business operations will be taken over by Reinshagen Metall-Technologien GmbH based in Kirchlengern, which means that the company will be restructured by means of an asset transfer. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be published.
During a staff meeting, together with the two managing directors of Reinshagen Metall-Technologien GmbH, Mr Alexander Heterle and Ms Silke Hempelmann, the administrator Mr Meyer informed the staff about the gratifying solution for the long-established company based in Spenge. The 21 employees will be kept on by the buyer. The managing partner of Johann Blomeier Maschinenbau GmbH, Mr Nikolai Dick, who had provided comprehensive support for the continued operation of the company during the proceedings, will be addressing new professional challenges in future.
Reinshagen Metall-Technologien GmbH based in Kirchlengern, in North Rhine-Westphalia in Germany, is a metalworking company. In addition to machining, the company’s range of services includes the manufacture of sheet metal parts, the development of customer-specific products as well as the design and production of tools and equipment. The use of modern laser technology in metalworking and the fully automated CNC machining centres make this medium-sized company one of the pioneers in the industry.
According to the PLUTA attorney Mr Meyer, “With this sale, we were able to achieve the best possible solution for everyone involved. Despite an uncertain future, over recent months the employees, together with Managing Director Nikolai Dick, have shown outstanding commitment and have pulled together with us to find a lasting solution to keep the company going. I would like to express my gratitude for the commitment of everyone involved. The creditors will also benefit from the solution achieved, as the restructuring will significantly improve the recovery rates that may be expected in the proceedings.”
Mr Heterle, Managing Director of Reinshagen, said: “We are very pleased that we succeeded in taking over the company. We would like to thank them for the constructive and fair negotiations and for the trust they have placed in us. We are convinced that we will lead the company into a successful future.”
