PLUTA restructuring expert Mr Patrick Meyerle finds investor for dataform dialogservices – all jobs saved

4 July 2025 · Nuremberg · Business Area Insolvency Administration

Restructuring expert Mr Patrick Meyerle from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has secured an investor with a long-term view in the provisional insolvency proceedings for dataform dialogservices GmbH. L.I.T. Global Cargo Consolidators GmbH, part of the renowned L.I.T. Group, will acquire the business effective 1 August 2025 and retain all of the 280 or so employees. It will then trade as dataform dialog solutions GmbH in the future. This solution ensures the survival of the Roßtal-based company, which specialises in dialogue marketing and e-commerce fulfilment.

“We are delighted to have been able to work out a viable solution in a short space of time. This takeover by a strategically aligned investor signals confidence in the Roßtal site, the workforce as a whole and the long-standing customer relationships,” said attorney Mr Patrick Meyerle. “All employees will be kept on and operations will be maintained without disruption. This is a great achievement made possible by our joint efforts.” Mr Meyerle’s PLUTA restructuring team comprises business lawyer Mr Holger Christian Buehler and attorney Ms Jacqueline Tilberis. The creditors’ committee already approved the solution in the past week.

Operations successfully maintained and new orders won

Mr Meyerle and his team, working in close coordination with management, have managed to stabilise the business and keep it operational since it filed for insolvency in May 2025. Ms Heidelinde Pietsch is the interim manager. The restructuring team held positive discussions with business partners and suppliers at the very start of the proceedings.

By doing so, Mr Patrick Meyerle and his team, in cooperation with management, succeeded in maintaining the confidence of the market. The company has even been able to win new orders that are helping to stabilise ongoing operations. These also underscore the company’s capabilities and standing in the market. The insolvency administrator would like to expressly thank the employees, who remain fully committed to day-to-day operations, and the Federal Employment Agency, which has helped to ensure the successful continuation of the business during the provisional proceedings through its pragmatic support and focus on finding a solution.

Established, owner-managed group as buyer

The L.I.T. Group is an established, owner-managed family business with an international focus. It is expanding its dialogue marketing offering through this takeover, which will also result in significant synergies in the areas of logistics, IT and customer communications. Integrating dataform into the L.I.T. Group will open up new market potential and strengthen competitiveness.

“By acquiring dataform, we are expanding our service portfolio to include the strategically important area of dialogue – with dialogue marketing and digital printing as well as print and output management. We are impressed by the employees’ expertise, the automated intralogistics and the notable customer portfolio with clear future potential. We are excited about what lies ahead for us and all we will be able to accomplish together,” said Mr Claas Durach, future managing director of dataform dialog solutions GmbH. Mr Klaus Vollmer, managing director of the insolvent dataform dialogservices GmbH and future member of the executive board of dataform dialog solutions GmbH, added, “With the L.I.T. Group’s support, we are ensuring a sustainable, long-term outlook for our customers, employees and service providers.”

L.I.T. is a logistics company with its headquarters in Brake in northern Germany and operations all across Europe. Founded in 1988, the owner-managed company is now one of the leading players in its industry. The group generated approximately 985 million euros in turnover in the 2024 business year. It employs over 4,000 people at more than 100 locations in 23 countries. With a comprehensive infrastructure comprising a modern fleet of 1,850 trucks, 5,400 swap bodies and 1,600 semitrailers as well as more than 950,000 square metres of logistics space, the company is able to deliver sophisticated logistics and transport solutions across Europe.

By order dated 7 May 2025, the Local Court of Fürth ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of dataform dialogservices GmbH and appointed Mr Patrick Meyerle from PLUTA as provisional administrator. The insolvency proceedings are expected to be opened in early August, at which point creditors will be able to file their claims for inclusion in the insolvency schedule.
