KG – in April. On 1 July 2022, the Local Court of Oldenburg opened proceedings for the assets of the three companies as planned and appointed provisional administrator Dr Christian Kaufmann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as insolvency administrator for them. He is currently engaged in intensive negotiations with investors interested in the group. Dr Kaufmann is being supported in the restructuring team by attorney Mr André Gildehaus and business management expert Mr Jürgen Schendel.
Stöhr-Brot is a family-run wholesale bakery employing around 280 people at four locations. The company is still operating without restriction and employee salaries are again being covered by business revenue. Currently, a structured M&A process is being conducted in cooperation with the experts at WAYES GmbH & Co. KG under Mr Hamed Omumi based in Oldenburg.
Dr Kaufmann stated in relation to the talks, “We are currently holding in-depth discussions with several interested parties. I hope we will bring these to a conclusion and reach an agreement shortly.”
Attorney Dr Christian Kaufmann is a managing director and partner at PLUTA and the manager of the PLUTA branches in Oldenburg and Bremen. He has extensive experience in restructuring companies and is currently also provisional insolvency administrator for Fosen Yard Emden GmbH based in Emden and WIKING Helikopter Service GmbH from Sande.
