Download as PDFAttorney Mr Christoph Chrobok from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has achieved a good result in the insolvency proceedings for SRG - Schrottservice Ruhr GmbH (previously: Recuperma Service GmbH). KISA GmbH from Kamp-Lintfort has acquired the company’s assets. Individual employees have been offered new employment with KISA.
The PLUTA team had conducted the structured process of securing an investor after the Local Court of Bochum ordered provisional insolvency administration for the company’s assets on 26 June 2025. On 27 August 2025, the court opened regular proceedings and appointed Mr Christoph Chrobok as insolvency administrator.
SRG - Schrottservice Ruhr GmbH specialises in repairs, servicing and wear protection services for scrap shears, scrap balers, shredders and more. Thanks to fast response times, customers benefit from the experience of the team, which ensures that machines of different manufacturers are restored to safe and reliable working condition. This is all with the aim of minimising machine downtime.
KISA GmbH is an expert in bulk material handling and processing technology and produces machines for washing, dewatering, dosing, dissolving and blending for the non-metallic minerals industry. The company’s machines are in operation worldwide. After commissioning, KISA also offers a comprehensive service with proactive maintenance, fast spare parts availability and personalised support.
KISA managing director Mr Peter Meier said, “Our company is pursuing a targeted expansion strategy. We can enhance our service offering and are strengthening our team with these skilled professionals and their extensive expertise.”
Best possible outcome
PLUTA attorney Mr Christoph Chrobok said, “KISA succeeded with its bid in the M&A process. We have therefore achieved the best possible solution for customers, staff and the creditors.” He is being assisted in the proceedings by attorney Mr Oliver Westkamp.
SRG continued to operate as normal during the provisional proceedings. Customers’ orders were processed as usual. A team under Mr Christian Plückebaum at PSM Management GmbH was responsible for providing commercial advice and for financial oversight. The M&A process was supported by a team led by Mr Kai Peppmeier and Mr Oliver Lewin at CVM Capital Value Management GmbH.
