PLUTA partner Stephan Ammann sells Solarschmiede GmbH

In his function as insolvency administrator, Mr. Stephan Ammann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH sold Solarschmiede GmbH as a result of management buyouts. The two business units, Engineering and Software, will be integrated into HaWe Engineering GmbH and Solarschmiede Software GmbH respectively. The new companies will be headed by Felix Schneider and Rudi Haas, the business units’ previous directors. The companies will work closely together, offering their previous range of services without any restrictions. Moreover, they will also take on the remaining staff.

HaWe Engineering GmbH will extend its new business unit by including building thermography and electrical thermography in the portfolio, in addition to consulting and preparing expert reports for the optimisation of photovoltaic systems. “We are very pleased that we can continue offering our customers our full scope of proven services in exactly the same way as before. Moreover, these additional services will broaden our position in the market,” says Rudi Haas, Managing Director of HaWe Engineering GmbH.
Felix Schneider, Managing Director of Solarschmiede Software GmbH, adds: “We will continue to work closely together. I am delighted to say that we can ensure a smooth transition for our customers. They will keep their contact persons and benefit from our offerings without any compromises.”

At the beginning of June, Solarschmiede GmbH had filed for insolvency with the Local Court of Munich. At that time, the court appointed the PLUTA partner Stephan Ammann as the temporary insolvency administrator. Mr. Ammann, who is an attorney and tax consultant, also demonstrated his satisfaction with this success. “The management buyout is a very good solution. Both the staff and the managing directors are experts in their respective fields. And the past weeks have shown how good customer relations are,” says Ammann.
