Download as PDFBy an order issued on 16 August 2018, the Local Court of Bielefeld has appointed the restructuring expert Mr Stefan Meyer from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as the provisional insolvency administrator for HKF Personalprojekte GmbH.
HKF from North Rhine-Westphalia is an owner-run temporary work agency that has specialised in providing qualified staff for more than ten years. Currently, the company has more than 100 members of staff, who are working in their customers’ businesses and in HKF’s own administration. The Kirchlengern-based company operates branch offices in Bissendorf, Leopoldshöhe, Melle and Wallenhorst. Over the past years, more than 150 employees have been given contracts for follow-up employment by HKF’s customers.
The temp agency filed for insolvency following liquidity problems as a result of a drop in revenues. Employee salaries are guaranteed thanks to specific substitute benefits provided under German insolvency law.
The PLUTA attorney Mr Meyer has already been able to obtain an initial overview of the situation that the company is in. The restructuring expert said, “We are continuing business operations at all of the branch offices and will analyse the chances of turning the company around. Our goal is to find a solution for HKF.” During the proceedings, Mr Meyer will be given support by the attorney Mr Christoph Chrobok. All the members of the PLUTA team are specialists in corporate restructuring.
Mr Alexander Fürst, Managing Director of HKF, commented, “We will give the administrator as much support as possible. The situation is not easy, but I am convinced that our company has solid prospects for the future. It is important here that our customers continue to remain loyal to us.”
