PLUTA attorney Mirko Möllen achieves solutions for several Hotels in the Chiemgau region

Insolvency administrator Mr Mirko Möllen from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has achieved viable follow-up solutions for all four DEVA Asset & Hotelmanagement GmbH hotels. The Villa Mittermaier hotel in Reit im Winkl, the Fischerwirt hotel in Ruhpolding and Vitalhotel Achentaler in Unterwössen are being operated since April by the newly founded DEVA Hotels Verwaltung GmbH. The Beim Egger hotel in Schechen is now being run by a tenant from the region.

DEVA Asset & Hotelmanagement GmbH, based in Reit im Winkl, filed for insolvency at the beginning of February 2023. Following this, on 2 February 2023, the Local Court of Traunstein ordered provisional insolvency administration for the company’s assets and appointed Mr Mirko Möllen from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator. He was appointed regular insolvency administrator at the end of March 2023.

DEVA Plus Hotels GmbH also had to file for insolvency. Mr Mirko Möllen is acting as administrator in these proceedings too. The company operated the Alpenhof hotel in Bayrischzell, which is now run by MT Süd Betriebs GmbH.

All five hotels were kept fully operational and remained open after the application for insolvency was filed. At the same time, the PLUTA attorney and his colleague Mr Hans-Christian Källner held constructive talks with all parties involved in order to find follow-up solutions. The aim was to preserve the hotels and save the jobs. Thanks to the positive outcome of the negotiations, more than 50 employees have been kept on. Other DEVA hotels are operated by other companies and were not affected by the application for insolvency.
