Download as PDFPechtl CNC-Frästechnik GmbH based in Böbingen intends to restructure under insolvency proceedings and has filed the relevant application. By order dated 25 September 2025, the Local Court of Aalen ordered provisional insolvency administration and appointed restructuring expert Mr Florian Zistler from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator.
The custom CNC machining specialist remains fully operational. The salaries of the 13 employees are guaranteed for a period of three months thanks to specific substitute benefits provided under German insolvency law. The company has been hit by the weak economy, declining orders and high costs, which have resulted in low capacity utilisation and a liquidity shortage. It has therefore had to file for insolvency due to imminent illiquidity.
Mr Florian Zistler already visited the business yesterday afternoon to gain an overview. The PLUTA attorney said, “The initial discussions have been very constructive. Key customers have been informed and are supportive of the company’s efforts to continue operating. We will examine restructuring measures in the coming weeks and do everything within our means to secure a reliable future for the company.” The administrator is working with business lawyer Mr Dennis Stroh on the proceedings.
Despite the challenges the company is currently facing, management is also optimistic about the future. “We have to adapt our company to the changed conditions. I am confident that we can find a long-term solution for our business,” said managing director Mr Markus Pechtl.
