Download as PDFOn 7 July 2025, the Local Court of Amberg ordered provisional insolvency administration for the assets of WSF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH based in Neunburg vorm Wald. The court has appointed restructuring expert Mr Daniel Barth from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator.
The machine tool specialist is continuing to operate without restriction. The wages and salaries of the 14 employees are guaranteed for a period of three months thanks to specific substitute benefits provided under German insolvency law.
The company finds itself in this situation due to payment delays and supply issues with a supplier. These have resulted in liquidity shortages, which then led to the company deciding to file for insolvency.
“We have already held initial discussions with customers, suppliers and other partners. Our aim is to find a suitable investor within the framework of a structured process,” said attorney Mr Barth. The PLUTA team also includes law graduate Mr Deniz Zelluh.
Managing director Mr Franz Schießl said, “We are very grateful for the solid backing of our team. Our employees are fully committed despite the difficult situation in which we find ourselves. The business is running smoothly without interruption.”
WSF Werkzeugmaschinen GmbH specialises in the sale and distribution of CNC machine tools. It also offers a comprehensive package of services, including maintenance and servicing, machinery transport, business relocation and both financing and leasing solutions. Live machine demonstrations and customer training are conducted at WSF’s own showroom in Neunburg vorm Wald.
