PLUTA – a Dynamic Enterprise

Mr Ludwig Stern was admitted to the ranks of PLUTA Management GmbH as a partner on 1 November 2022. With his background as a business management and restructuring expert, he has worked in the restructuring business unit at PLUTA’s Munich branch office since 2015. Prior to that, he worked for one of the large German auditing firms.

German business daily Handelsblatt has recognised acclaimed attorneys and law firms in its Best Lawyers ranking. This is already the fourteenth time the publisher has honoured the best attorneys of the year in their respective legal fields. We are particularly pleased that Handelsblatt included eleven PLUTA attorneys in three areas of specialisation this year.

PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has announced two new partners: attorneys Dr Karl-Friedrich Gulbins and Mr Stefan Warmuth.

The European Insolvency Practitioners Association (EIP) revealed new positions on its board of directors at its most recent digital annual meeting. PLUTA managing partner Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt has been appointed president of this association of European insolvency administrators. Mr Willrodt, an insolvency law expert, has more than 17 years of experience as an attorney and has handled over 300 corporate insolvency cases to date.

Mr Michael Bremen has passed the baton on to the next generation. At the beginning of 2022, he handed over the reins of PLUTA’s Düsseldorf and Aachen branch offices to attorneys Mr Christoph Chrobok and Dr Uwe Paul

Mr Sebastian Laboga became a managing partner of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH on 1 January 2022. The experienced attorney, a managing director and partner of PLUTA, has been in charge of the branch offices in Berlin, Bochum, Dortmund, Essen and Erfurt since early 2020.

Dr Karl von Hase joined the Düsseldorf branch office of restructuring company PLUTA as a partner on 1 January 2022. Together with his team, the experienced attorney for general law and specialist attorney for commercial and corporate law will contribute extensive experience to PLUTA’s legal consulting business. He will be supported by attorney Dr Julia Weiler-Esser, who also joined the company at the beginning of the year. Dr von Hase and Dr Weiler-Esser have already worked together in the past.
