Court confirms Insolvency Plan for Sächsische Druckguß

On 6 November 2017, the Local Court of Leipzig confirmed the insolvency plan submitted during the debtor-in-possession proceedings for the die casting company Sächsische Druckguß GmbH. The creditors had already approved the insolvency plan unanimously. It is planned to close the proceedings in the near future. JT Touristik Delivers Package Holidays for more than 30,000 Holidaymakers within six Weeks

The buyer is the WELP Group with its headquarters in Georgsmarienhütte, Germany. All 180 members of staff at Neustadt and 120 additional employees in Romania will be kept on. The two parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality about the purchase price.

Chinese Company acquires Duisburg Tubes Production

The stock-listed Chinese group specialises in producing and selling nuclear power plant, special equipment and petrochemical facilities.

The Local Court of Heilbronn opened the debtor-in-possession proceedings as planned. The business has been sold to an internationally operating engineering consultancy. The company has been acquired with effect from 1 October 2017. Almost 60 employees have been taken over by the new owner. The chief restructuring officer Mr Andreas Elsäßer from Schultze & Braun and the insolvency monitor Mr Steffen Beck from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH succeeded in achieving this solution with the engineering consultancy.

PLUTA Expert Dr Thiemann guarantees all JT Touristik Trips until the Year End

The Berlin-based company JT Touristik will be able to carry out all trips up to and including 31 December 2017. Their customers will not suffer any financial disadvantage due to the insolvency. The provisional insolvency administrator, Dr Stephan Thiemann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, was able to achieve this solution for the months of November and December following intensive negotiations with all of the parties concerned. Previously, it had only been possible to guarantee trips until 31 October 2017.

The last time a 105-ton casting was produced in the 13-metre-deep pit at the Königsbronn plant was approximately 8 years ago.

Positive Prospects for Volz Group Companies

The court appointed two experts in restructuring, Mr Michael Pluta and Mr Michael Wahl from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, as provisional insolvency administrators. This step was inevitable due to the fact that the company needs to undergo restructuring to become fit for the future.
