PLUTA attorney Peter Roeger seeks investor for LED specialist lichtline GmbH
The PLUTA restructuring expert has already gained an initial overview of the company’s financial situation since his appointment. The business is continuing to operate. The company has a workforce of 27 employees, whose salaries are guaranteed for a period of three months to the end of December 2026 thanks to specific substitute benefits provided under German insolvency law. Pre-financing of these is currently being arranged. Mr Peter Roeger is handling the proceedings together with business lawyer Mr Maximilian Wanko.
The company has had to file for insolvency due to liquidity problems as a result of declining sales. The administrator is currently exploring options for keeping the business operating over the long term and restructuring it. Discussions are ongoing with customers in this regard. Preparations are also under way to seek an investor.
Investor sought
“The business is continuing to operate. All orders are being processed as usual. Our goal is to find a solution for the company. We plan to approach potential investors with a view to finding a buyer for the business who will secure its long-term future,” said specialist attorney Mr Peter Roeger.
Management is also hoping for a solution. Managing partner Dr Christoph Claassen said, “The current situation is not easy. However, we remain confident in our company and its future. We have an experienced team. And we are working with the provisional insolvency administrator to find a long-term solution for our business and our employees.”
