Download as PDFOn 1 February 2025, the Local Court of Tübingen opened insolvency proceedings for the assets of Sauter Feinmechanik GmbH based in Metzingen. Mr Ilkin Bananyarli from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was appointed regular insolvency administrator. He had previously acted as provisional administrator for the company.
The metalworking company continues to operate without restriction. The business employs around 240 people. In recent months, the Sauter team has continued to fulfil all customer orders and process new ones.
With the business stabilised, the focus has now turned to the ongoing discussions with investors. Supported by PLUTA attorney Mr Niko Maier, insolvency administrator Mr Bananyarli is optimistic: “The discussions with investors are in full swing. Several parties have expressed an interest, and I am confident that we will quickly achieve a solution.”
Founded in Metzingen in 1946, Sauter Feinmechanik GmbH specialises in tool carrier systems, rotary tables and automation. The company supplies industrial customers across Germany and offers extensive customer and spare parts services. It also operates a subsidiary in the US that is not affected by the application for insolvency.
