Three new partners at PLUTA

The PLUTA restructuring company has added another three partners to its ranks: Dr Ruth Rigol, Ms Heike Metzger and Mr Markus Fünning. This brings the number of partners at PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH to 24.

The company has thereby expanded its partner base to include further top performers in several business areas. In addition to their excellent specialist know-how and many years of professional experience in outstanding mandates, the new partners have made significant contributions to the company as a whole, especially in leadership roles and central functions.

Attorney Dr Ruth Rigol specialises in restructuring and turning around companies as part of debtor-in-possession and ordinary insolvency proceedings. Her mandates include the Vapiano restaurant chain. The specialist attorney for insolvency and labour law heads up the PLUTA branch offices in Cologne and Solingen together with Mr Stefan Conrads. She is a member of the executive committee of the Insolvency Law and Restructuring Working Group of the German Bar Association (DAV). Ms Heike Metzger, an attorney for general law and specialist attorney for insolvency law, has many years of experience in restructuring and turning around companies and is regularly appointed insolvency administrator. She heads up the PLUTA branch office in Heilbronn, as well as the branch office in Mannheim together with Mr Rainer Bachert. The restructuring expert recently achieved a successful solution for an insolvent trade fair service provider in spite of the challenging situation in the industry on account of the coronavirus crisis. Mr Markus Fünning, an attorney for general law and specialist attorney for banking and capital markets law, heads up the legal consulting area at PLUTA together with Dr Joachim Geßler. The experienced legal expert advises investors, secured creditors, corporate bodies and credit institutions on insolvency matters. He is also the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Officer at PLUTA.
