PLUTA team enable H&H Touristik Group trips to take place until end of May

The green light for additional H&H Touristik Group trips starting on or before 31 May 2019 has been given. Up until now, this had only been possible for trips beginning until the end of April.

This applies to all trips which travellers booked via H&H Touristik, galavital and Travel Direkt, and which can take place thanks to the support provided by the insurer HanseMerkur Reiseversicherung AG.

“The talks held with all those involved were very constructive. We are pleased about the solution we have found,” said the restructuring expert Mr Michael Pluta. It may, nevertheless, become necessary for some of the booked trips to be cancelled in individual cases.

The PLUTA team starts searching for an investor

The companies in the H&H Touristik Group have been involved in insolvency proceedings since the beginning of February 2019. Mr Michael Pluta, Mr Heinz-Joachim Hombach and Mr Rainer Bachert from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH are acting as provisional administrators. The PLUTA team has started the process of finding an investor and is holding discussions with potential investors. The aim is to find a long-term solution for the company.

PLUTA’s team has extensive experience in managing insolvency cases in the tourism industry. In December 2017, Dr Stephan Thiemann achieved a long-term solution for JT Touristik by selling the tour operator to Lidl Digital International GmbH & Co. KG. In 2015, Mr Michael Pluta succeeded in finding an investor for the river cruise operator nicko cruises GmbH.
