PLUTA restructuring expert Frank Schorisch appointed as provisional administrator for Göding + Partner GmbH

28 November 2019 · Bielefeld · Business Area Insolvency Administration

By an order of 21 November 2019, the Local Court of Bielefeld appointed Mr Frank Schorisch from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as the provisional insolvency administrator for Göding + Partner GmbH. The family-managed medium-sized company, based in Spenge, had to file the application due to a decline in sales as a result of the difficult economic situation faced by automotive suppliers.

In the past few days, the PLUTA administrator has obtained an initial overview of the company’s current situation. Together with the management team, he has conducted discussions with staff and customers. Mr Schorisch said, “Business operations have been maintained without any restriction since provisional administration has been ordered. The salaries of the staff are guaranteed until the end of January 2020 thanks to specific insolvency substitute benefits.” Together with his team, which also includes the tax advisor Mr Martin Klee, Mr Schorisch will use the next few weeks to develop approaches to deal with the current situation. The PLUTA restructuring expert said with confidence, “In my view, there are good prospects that the company can be viable.”

Göding + Partner GmbH, based in Spenge, has specialised in the polishing of plastic injection moulds as a service provider for more than 30 years. Its activities include manual surface polishing, automatic surface finishing, graining, coating, laser welding and repair work. The family business, which is active on an international scale, offers a comprehensive range of services for the tool making and mould making sector.
