Download as PDFFollowing the decision taken on 8 December, the Local Court of Hildesheim appointed Mr Ingo Thurm from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as the provisional insolvency administrator for Claus Gerlach Bauelemente GmbH.
Together with his team, Mr Thurm has already been able to obtain a first overview of the situation concerning the company. The PLUTA restructuring expert said: “We are continuing the full scope of business operations. The company has orders for more than 100 construction projects. On the basis of the current situation, we will be able to complete all of these orders in the coming months. The customers can continue to rely on the company’s product quality and advisory services as usual.”
The objective of the provisional insolvency administrator is to give the traditional company good prospects of a successful future. To achieve this, Mr Thurm will hold talks with prospective investors in the near future. The Bockenem-based company with their workforce of 25 employees got into dire straits as a result of the highly competitive pressure in the sector.
The restructuring expert has already arranged for the pre-financing of the so-called insolvency substitute benefits, which will ensure that employee wages and salaries are secure for a period of three months. The PLUTA restructuring team headed by Ingo Thurm also includes the attorney Mr Günther Hahn and the economist Mr Jürgen Schendel.
