Download as PDFOn the occasion of the final distribution as part of the insolvency proceedings for Zeitzer-Container-Transport GmbH, Dr Stephan Thiemann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was able to repay 100% of the sums claimed by the creditors. This also applies to all of the lower-ranking creditors.
“I am really happy that we managed to achieve such a high recovery rate for the creditors. The proceedings will be terminated before the end of the year and will then be fully completed,” explained the insolvency administrator Dr Stephan Thiemann. The creditors had already received an amount equal to 90% of their claims in 2012.
The insolvency proceedings had been opened for the company based in Zeitz, Germany, on 1 February 2010. At that time, it was not possible to continue the business owing to the company’s poor results of operations. The fact that it was now possible to achieve such a good result for the creditors is due to the PLUTA team successfully liquidating the company’s assets. They were supported in this process by Mr Klaus Tille, Managing Director of Zeitzer. Alongside Dr Thiemann, the PLUTA team also includes the business management expert Ms Ute Sambale.
