PLUTA attorney Sebastian Laboga appointed provisional administrator for Trockland IX Real Estate

Trockland IX Real Estate GmbH has filed for insolvency with the Local Court of Charlottenburg. The court has appointed Mr Sebastian Laboga from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional insolvency administrator.

Trockland IX Real Estate GmbH is an investment company that was founded to develop the zone around Checkpoint Charlie. A museum as well as apartments, offices, shops and restaurants are planned at the location of the former border crossing point.

The provisional insolvency administrator and his team are in the process of analysing the company’s current situation. Mr Laboga explained in an initial statement: “At the moment, we are holding discussions with all stakeholders in order to jointly develop promising solutions.”

The PLUTA team will gain a comprehensive overview in the weeks ahead. Only after that will it be possible to provide details on the next stages in the insolvency proceedings.
