PLUTA attorney Peter Roeger appointed provisional administrator for SINGER INGENIEUR CONSULT GmbH

The Local Court of Bayreuth ordered provisional insolvency proceedings to be opened for the assets of SINGER INGENIEUR CONSULT GmbH based in Bayreuth on 1 February 2023. Mr Peter Roeger from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH was appointed provisional administrator. He is working with the management team to keep the engineering services provider running. All orders are being fulfilled as planned.

Attorney Mr Peter Roeger and his PLUTA colleague Mr Dino Eglinski, a business lawyer, are already on site with the company. “We are reviewing the company’s financial situation and various restructuring options. We have held initial discussions with customers and business partners, which have gone well. This is a good basis for the proceedings,” said the PLUTA restructuring expert. At present, the engineering services provider employs 68 people. Together with management, the provisional insolvency administrator has already informed the employees about the latest developments.

The company had to file for insolvency due to liquidity problems as a result of unexpected cases of non-payment and the postponement of various construction projects.

SINGER INGENIEUR CONSULT GmbH (formerly Singer & Spindler) originally began its operations as a structural engineering firm in Bayreuth in 1989. Today, the company’s activities cover a range of areas, especially design, construction supervision and technical project management for complex building work. Skilled employees provide a comprehensive service on civil and structural engineering, building services, maintenance and architecture projects. The company has been involved in construction schemes in Bavaria, including Bayreuth, Nuremberg, Fürth and Coburg, and all across Germany, for example Berlin and Kiel.
