PLUTA attorney Ivo-Meinert Willrodt appointed as provisional administrator for SiWo-Bau

Today, the Local Court of Regensburg has ordered provisional insolvency proceedings to be opened for the assets of SiWo-Bau GmbH. Mr Ivo-Meinert Willrodt, a restructuring expert from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH, was appointed as the provisional administrator. Filing for insolvency became inevitable due to a liquidity shortage, which was due, amongst other things, to bad debt losses.

In its function as prime contractor, the construction company is currently responsible for implementing several construction projects in Regensburg and the surrounding area, Ingolstadt and Munich. At present, SiWo-Bau has a workforce of 26 employees.

Mr Willrodt and the other members of the PLUTA team are now going to obtain a comprehensive overview of the company’s financial situation. “We will hold talks with everybody concerned as soon as possible. The goal is to give the company good prospects of a successful future,” said the PLUTA restructuring expert. The PLUTA team also includes the attorney Mr Daniel Barth and the interim manager Mr Robert Knör.

SiWo-Bau GmbH was founded in 2012. The company specialises in the implementation of housing development and residential construction projects.

Mr Willrodt has many years of experience in restructuring companies. He has been working for PLUTA for more than 17 years and has already handled more than 250 corporate insolvency cases. These include, for example, Straubinger Metallbau GmbH, Perfekt Bau GmbH and Rheinhold Meister GmbH.
