PLUTA attorney Florian Zistler finds investor for solar supplier Sungrade

Mr Florian Zistler from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has found a solution for solar energy system supplier Sungrade based in Günzburg in the context of the company’s insolvency proceedings. Effective 1 February 2026, the newly established Energie Manufaktur Günzburg GmbH will acquire the majority of the company’s assets by way of an asset deal.

This outcome will ensure the solar energy system specialist’s expertise is preserved. The Local Court of Neu-Ulm, as the competent court, opened the insolvency proceedings on 1 December 2025 and appointed PLUTA attorney Mr Florian Zistler as insolvency administrator, following provisional proceedings. The PLUTA team also comprises business lawyer Mr Dennis Stroh. Attorney Mr Martin Jungclaus has been supporting the legal implementation of the purchase agreement.

“I am pleased that we have found a solution for the business. The asset deal opens up future prospects for the solar energy system specialist,” said restructuring expert Mr Florian Zistler. The company has continued operating in recent months while the process of finding an investor was conducted. This has now been concluded.

The acquisition is the result of intensive coordination between all concerned. This successful outcome lays the foundations for the company’s stable future. Managing director Mr Ralf Prestin, who had already previously worked for Sungrade Photovoltaik GmbH, said, “We see potential in the photovoltaic service offering. We want to work together to continue the activities and develop them strategically.”

Going forward, Energie Manufaktur Günzburg GmbH will be responsible for selling the solar energy systems. The company offers consulting, system installation and other services. Its offering includes solutions comprising a photovoltaic system, a battery storage unit and a vehicle charger.
