PLUTA attorney Dr Christian Kaufmann finds investor for software developer bremacon

Dr Christian Kaufmann from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH has found an investor for Bremen-based software developer bremacon. Effective 1 February 2021, Power PFM GmbH from Düsseldorf has taken over the business operations by way of an asset deal. The parties involved have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The experts at M&A consultancy GO & Company supported the PLUTA team during the process of finding an investor.

The main owners of Power PFM GmbH are Kolisch Holding GmbH and Hayv GmbH. bremacon GmbH develops software solutions for the energy industry. The small team of developers offers an energy logistics system solution for the comprehensive automation and digitalisation of sales, procurement and analysis processes. Moreover, the bremacon team advises and supports individual power companies as well as energy and municipal utility partnerships.

On 1 February 2021, the Local Court of Bremen opened insolvency proceedings for the assets of bremacon GmbH and appointed Dr Christian Kaufmann as administrator. He had previously acted as provisional insolvency administrator for the company. Dr Kaufmann and his PLUTA team have kept the business fully operational ever since the application for insolvency was filed, while observing the stricter hygiene measures in place.
