Download as PDFIn the insolvency proceedings for Huber Automotive AG, an investor has been secured for the development division within just five weeks. The PLUTA Management GmbH team has been responsible for the sales process. Insolvency administrator Mr Martin Mucha from law firm Grub Brugger has been conducting the process of finding an investor in consultation with the creditors’ committee.
NEURA Robotics has acquired the development division with more than 30 employees effective 16 October 2025. In addition to the workforce, the transaction also involves the transfer of the division’s moveable fixed assets and know-how.
Mr Marcus Katholing, managing director of PLUTA Management GmbH and project lead for the M&A deal, said, “I am pleased that we have been able to complete this transaction and that the jobs have been saved. Our discussions with the investor were very positive. We have been able to reach an agreement and successfully conclude this sale in a very short space of time.” The solution achieved underscores PLUTA Management GmbH’s implementation expertise. Its years of experience are especially evident in distressed M&A mandates.
The PLUTA Management GmbH team also includes Mr Luca Reifenberg and Mr Michael Kögl. Project manager Mr Luca Reifenberg said, “Cooperation with the insolvency administrator and his team has been very good over these weeks. We would like to thank Mr Martin Mucha, Mr Karl Sebastian Schäfer and Mr Tobias Bodenhöfer for the trust shown and the successful collaboration. The support of the staff and customers has also been important, and we appreciate that they made themselves available for discussions and meetings during the M&A process.”
PLUTA coordinated the M&A process, from the search for an investor to the execution of the transaction. In a second step, the PLUTA team is now also looking to find an investor for the production division of the automotive supplier based in Mühlhausen in Baden-Württemberg. The team is working closely with the insolvency administrator for the company during the sales process.

We are continuing to work with great urgency on securing an investor for the remaining operations,” said attorney Mr Martin Mucha.
