1 April 2019 · Halle/Westphalia · Business Area Insolvency Administration

Today, the local court Bielefeld has ordered the scheduled opening of insolvency proceedings under self-administration for GERRY WEBER International AG. The court has appointed lawyer Stefan Meyer of PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as trustee (Sachwalter), who was previously already appointed provisional trustee. GERRY WEBER International AG had applied for the court order of insolvency proceedings under self-administration on 25 January 2019.

Throughout the opened self-administration proceedings, all business operations continue without limitations. The continued financing of operations is safeguarded well into the year 2020. All restructuring measures are being consequently implemented. The Managing Board remains in office with all powers and responsibilities within the self-administration proceedings.

Further, today, GERRY WEBER International AG applied for a change from the Prime Standard into the General Standard at the Frankfurt Stock Exchange.
