Bayreuth firm communicall files for insolvency – PLUTA attorney Peter Roeger ensures continuation of operations

23 January 2026 · Bayreuth · Business Area Insolvency Administration

communicall GmbH has filed for insolvency with the Local Court of Bayreuth, as the competent court. On 22 January 2026, the court then ordered provisional insolvency administration and appointed attorney Mr Peter Roeger from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH as provisional administrator.

Headquartered in Bayreuth, communicall is a B2B provider of inbound and outbound call services designed to support the sales operations of midsize companies. The company is maintaining normal operations without restriction; it is providing services to customers as usual and continuing ongoing projects. The goal of the proceedings is to stabilise the business and develop a long-term solution for the company. The salaries of the 40 or so employees are guaranteed for a period of three months thanks to specific substitute benefits provided under German insolvency law. Management informed the employees about the latest developments today.

The company has filed for insolvency due to liquidity problems. Provisional insolvency administrator Mr Peter Roeger is currently working with attorney Ms Jacqueline Tilberis to conduct a comprehensive review of the company’s financial situation and examine potential courses of action. In parallel to this, they are holding discussions with customers and business partners to establish the conditions needed for the company’s ongoing viability.

Business continuing to operate

“As a first step, we are working on safeguarding ongoing operations. Our second step will be to review all options to find a sustainable solution. We will also engage with investors for this purpose,” said PLUTA restructuring expert Mr Peter Roeger. He added, “The company has an experienced workforce and established customer relationships. These conditions provide opportunities for restructuring.”

Management also feels optimistic about the future. Mr Peter Eichmüller said, “We remain reliably accessible to our clients. Our goal is to ensure the long-term continuation of operations. We will work together with the provisional insolvency administrator and hope that a solution can be found.”
